League of Legends - 5v5 Round-Robin

In terms of the League of Legends 5v5 tournament we will use the round-robin structure.

Format Details:

• All matches will be 5v5


• All matches will be played on the map Summoner's Rift


• All matches are bo1 (Best of 1)


• All matches will use Tournament Draft


• Each match will have a coin-flip performed by tournament admin, the winner of this coin-flip will pick which side their team plays on


• Breaks between matches may not exceed 5 minutes, disqualification may occur if a player is late


• All entrant teams will play in the same round-robin series


• If there is a tie for 1st and 2nd place an additional match will be played to conclude the placement


• Maximum 8 entrant teams


• Minimum 5 entrant teams (team registration is done at the event, insufficient teams will result in tournament cancellation without refund)

• All players must be eligible to enter Tournament Draft formats, this requires 16 champions unlocked. If you are uncertain if you are eligible, host a private Tournament Draft to check.


• Players must be present for the beginning of a match, if you are late you may be disqualified


• Pauses may not exceed 2 minutes, abuse of pauses may result in tournament administrative decisions against the offending team up to and including disqualification from the tournament


• In the event of a disconnect a pause may occur while the disconnected player reconnects to the game


• If a disconnected player cannot reconnect before the pause expires, the player may continue to attempt to reconnect but the match must continue unpaused


• Teams are not allowed to change their roster once the tournament has started


• Players can only play on one team per tournament


• In the case of massive, catastrophic computer failure the match may be completely restarted at the discretion of a tournament admin


• All players will show professional courtesy to one another


• Cheats/hacks will not be tolerated. Cheating during a tournament will result in your expulsion from the event without refund
